My Father's working and so am I
the Son does nothing by Himself
He only does what He sees the Father
the Father does He also
For just as the Father raise the dead
and gives life to them
Even so the Son gives life
He who hears my word and believes Him
Who sent Me has eternal life
For He loves the Son and shows Him
every thing that He Himself He does
And shows Him greater works than these
to fill you with wonder
The Father judges no one
but has given all judgement to the Son
That all may honor the Son
Even as they honor the Father
For just as the Father raise the dead
and gives life to them

He who hears my word and believes Him
Who sent Me has eternal life
The hour's coming and now it is
when the dead shall hear my voice

The hour has come for the
Son of Man to be glorified
Unless a grain of wheat falls
into the ground and it dies
it remains alone
But if it dies
it will bear a harvest
Who ever loves his life will lose it
He who hates his life in this world
will keep eternal
If anyone wants to serve me
he must follow Me
Where I am there will My servant

Bread of Life

When did you get here?
Truly I say to you
You seek me not because
you saw the signs
But because you ate
of the loaves and had your fill
Do not work for food that spoils
But for the food that endures
to eternal life, which the
Son of Man will give you
Lord, give us this bread
every day

the bread of life
Whoever comes to me
will never hunger again
and will never thirst again
All those the Father
gives to me will come to me
What must we do that we
may do the works of God?
This is the work of God that
you believe in the one
He has sent
And now He offers you
the true bread from heaven

not to do my own will
but the will of Him

that I not lose those given me
Whoever believes in me

A Greater Testimony

When I make claims on
my own behalf
My testimony is not true
Yet there is another who testifies
who is making these
claims for me too
You sent to John and
he testified the truth
I do not need men's words
to agree with me
He was a burning and
shining lamp
For awhile you rejoiced
in his light
I have a greater testimony
than John
The works the Father has
given me
They bear witness of me
The Father himself
who has sent me has born
witness of me
You have neither heard his
voice at any time nor seen his
form or him face to face
You do not have his word
abiding in you
For you do not believe
the one He has sent
Examine the words that
you think will give
you eternal life
They also testify about me
Yet you do not want to come to me
so that you can have this life
I do not accept praise from people
'cause I know you don't have
the love of God

No one has risen to heaven 'cept the one
Who descended from heaven even the Son of Man
Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in
the wilderness
Even so must the Son of Man be lifted up
That whoever believes in Him should not perish
But may have everlasting life
For God so loved the world that He gave His Son
that whoever believes in Him should not perish
For God did not send His Son into the world
To condemn the world but that the world
through Him might be saved
Light has come into the world and
men loved darkness
Because their deeds were evil and afraid
they were exposed
But whoever does what is true comes to the light
That it may be seen that his works have been
done in God
For God so loved the world that He gave His Son
that whoever believes in Him should not perish
For God did not send His Son into the world
To condemn the world but that the world
through Him might be saved

I Know Where I Came From

For I know where I came from and where I'll go
But you don't know where I'm from
Or where I'm going You judge by the flesh
I am not judging anyone
Yet if I judge, my judgement is true
For I am not alone but am with the Father
Even in your law it is written that the
testimony of two men is true
I am one who bears witness of myself
And The Father who sent me
bears witness too
Since you don't know who I am
You also don't know my Father
If you knew me you would also know Him
I am going away where I'm going you can't come
You are from below, I am from above
You are of this world I am not from this world
For unless you believe that I am He,
you will die in your sins
But He who sent me is trustworthy
What I've heard from Him I will tell the world
When you lift up the Son of Man
Then you will know, that I am He
and that I do nothing of myself
but only what the Father has taught me
He who sent me is always with me
The Father has not left me alone
For I always do those things
that please Him
If you will live as I tell you to
Truly you are my disciples
You shall know the truth and the truth shall
set you free

The Time Is Coming

I have spoken these things to you
so that your faith in me won't be shaken
They are going to throw you out of
the meeting places
The time is coming that when anyone
who kills you will think that he is
offering a service to God
They will do this because they have
not known the Father or me
But I have told you so when the time
comes, these things will happen
Remember I warned you
I did not tell these things from the
beginning because I was with you
a while longer
But now I am going to Him who sent me
I have many things left to tell you but
you cannot bear them now
But when the Holy Spirit has come
He will guide you into all truth
He won't speak on his own authority
He speaks only what he hears
And will tell you what is yet to come
He will glorify me
I have told you these things so that
in me you may have peace
In the world you will have tribulation
But be of good cheer
For I have overcome the world

The Good Shepherd

I tell you I am the door for the sheep
All came before me were thieves
The sheep did not listen to them
If any one comes through me,
he will be saved and go in
The thief comes only to steal and destroy
I came that they may have life
And have it more abundantly
I am the good shepherd
who gives his life for the sheep
I know my sheep and am known by my own
As the Father knows me, so I know him
And I lay my life down for the sheep
They follow me-- they know my voice
He calls them by name and leads them
out ahead of them
His sheep follow him-- they know his voice
They will never follow a stranger
But will run away from him because
they do not know
Or recognize the strangers voice
All who came before were thieves
and outlaws
I have other sheep who are not of
this fold and I must bring them
And they will hear my voice
There will be one flock and shepherd
Therefore my Father loves me
I lay my life down that I may take
it up again-- no one takes it from me
I have the power to lay it down
and the power to take it up
I know my sheep and am known by my own
As the Father knows me, so I know him
And I lay my life down for the sheep
They follow me-- they know my voice

Never Thirst Again

If you knew the gift of your God
and who it is saying to you
"Give me a drink", he would have
given you the living water
But sir, you have nothing to draw with
and the well is very deep
Where can you get this living water
Are you greater than Jacob?
He who drinks of this water will
get thirsty again and again
Every one who drinks of this water will
thirst again
But whoever drinks the water
that I shall give him
will never thirst again-- the water I give
Will become a well of water
springing up to eternal life
Please sir, give me this water
so I will not thirst nor come to draw
Yet, whoever drinks the water
that I shall give him

will become in him a well of water
springing up to eternal life

Father the hour has come
Glorify your Son so he can give
Glory back to you for you have given
him authority over everyone

I brought you glory here on the earth
by completing all the works you have

that every thing is a gift from you

They received it and know
I came from you

I ask not on behalf of the world
But for those you have given me
Because they belong to you
They will stay in this world
